The government is usually the authority that directs controls and administers state institutions which is driving policy. The main objective of the government is to enforce laws adopted by the supreme legislative body of the state. In a very broad sense, the government is the set of individuals in a state which hold power politics. This meaning applies where the separation of powers, it encompasses all the organs of the State and other public entities, they belong to the legislative, executive or judicial. He refers to this meaning when you say that the government, along with the territory and the people, is one of the constituent elements of the state. The meaning can be further extended to include also the political and social forces, such as political parties and trade unions, which are not components of the State or public bodies, however, participate in political life (Wylie, 2011). There is serious argument found for the discussion of either government should be large or should get shrank for well being of people or politics.

Many political scholars have this conflict of talking in favor of having big governments. Even if governments do not consider their advantage, this issue is being a critical discussion for analysts from economical and social point of view. It is right to consider that having a big government might harm the overall economy of the country and more corruption is found by government leaders. Apart from negative aspects of big governments there lie many positive impacts which would result effectively mostly on individual (Hayward, 2011).
