Introduction

Louis Armstrong came into this world in 1901 in New Orleans, Louisiana, nicknamed Satchmo or Pops. He was born to William Armstrong and Mary Armstrong. He belonged to the family of slaves. He was the one who initially introduced solo in jazz music. One can also say that he was the pioneers of Jazz music.
