Great Britain and Industrial Revolution

Great Britain experienced industrial revolution during the years 1750 to 1850 for the first time. Britain had many advantages as compared to the other countries, which helped it in taking a lead position of the revolution. For example, it had a very good transportation system, and also plentiful resources of iron and coal (Allen, p.9, 2006).
