Introduction

Catastrophes, disasters and emergencies are not easy to tackle; but these problems are distinct that require discrete schemes of response. The disastrous events are characterized from everyday emergencies by four features; organizations lose their general autonomy, they face changes in performance standards, organizations are compelled into different types of interactions than usual and further coordinated relationships are required. A report is submitted by The National Council on Disability (NCD) that it offers the effective emergency management for the community (www.ncd.gov). Their purpose is to promote practices and policies that pledge on the balancing opportunity for all individuals with disabilities suffering from different disasters. This council was charged with the duty to gain the information on the implementation and development of federal policies, laws, practices and programs.

Discussion

The management of emergency incident requires team work to recover it. Around one hundred regional emergency managers attended the summit, in which it provided the federal, state, local emergency managers and particularly those who works in the technology field to share best exercises and frequent challenges in the field of disaster (www.ncd.gov). It was said by Crawford that few of the challenges that are facing by emergency management is the reduction in government's budgets, a poor economy and unrealistic expectations from government's reactions. It has been observed that states are spoiling as local governments are stressed; therefore, emergency managers are facing number of problems in order to deter the disastrous events due to fewer budgets.

In the current times, emergency managers are facing the biggest problem on the overreliance of technology. Most of the alert systems are not really worthy for the protection from disaster, for instance, in Colorado; technology created such high expectations and pretended that loss will not be of the deaths (www.wcdm.org).
