The conditions in the New World and Politics in the Old Word gave rise to piracy in the Spanish Main in different ways. The reason is that the New World went through a major transition that was based on the economic aspects. When the trade activities started in the 16th and 17th century, it provided an opportunity for the Pirates to attack those vessels in order to steal the necessary materials flowed from one place to another. The trade route based on sea at that time had a lot of value and it also saved time for the traders. The famous movie known as “Pirates of the Caribbean” signifies the role of the piracy in old times and the level of such activities that existed during that time. The economic difference and the rivalry between the European colonies and other countries also became the main reason for Pirate activities. Though, the deployment of the Navy and other military steps were taken to prevent such incidents but the Pirates also knew to perform their activities with the help of different tactics. In this way, it evolved over the period of time and at present times; Piracy is considered the Global Issue that has its maximum frequency near the Somalia's Coast. Therefore, this is the overall description of the Piracy in the New and Old World.
