Introduction

W.E.B Dubois through his criticism of Booker T Washington tries adopting a vigorous and open approach that would help obtain equality for the Negroes in the society on an immediate basis. However, even though his intentions were good, yet he failed to anticipate that the success in Washington's plan would have helped the Negroes attain equality on a stronger and permanent basis.
