Introduction

The rate of violence is continuous on edge in United States which is a serious issue for the American society to be taken into consideration. The increased rate of violence in United States has given rise to the different discussions in relation to the effective measures which could be taken to minimize the violence and risk of violent crimes occurring within the area. However, it is explained that the main reason is the implementation of gun control in this regard. The public considers the gun control measure as the most effective measure which could be used for minimizing the violence from American society. There is a close interrelation between the issues of gun control, personal protection and the use of other forces. In any way, the issue of use of force arises with the use of the personal protection equipments and the use of weapons. However, there is a great need of conducting an assessment about the implementation of the use of force and personal protection equipments.

Discussion

The growing rate of violence in United States of America is becoming the biggest reason of tension in the area. The violence is giving rise of the use of weapons and personal protective instruments which is directly linked to the use of forces. Personal protective equipment (PPE) is designed to preserve the combat capability of the Armed Forces and to ensure the combat mission in enemy use of weapons of mass destruction (WMD), and under the impact of destructive environments arising from the operation and damage of weapons and military equipment (Amo, 1989). Timely and skillful use of PPE provides protection against toxic substances (0V), the light emission of nuclear explosions (SIYAV), radioactive dust (PM), radioactive substances (RS), bacterial (biological) aerosols (BA), carbon monoxide, and allows individual tasks under water and in the environment devoid of oxygen. PPE also provide short-term protection from ognesmesi and open flame. In order to improve the security, personnel along with PPE use medical facilities that are part of the individual first aid kits, as well as individual anti-gas package (Kates, 1979).

Personal protective equipment is divided into personal respiratory protection (RPE), personal protective eyewear (SIZG) and personal protective skin (SIZK).
