Introduction
Water from wells is the only source of water for many villages in the rural areas. There have been identified different methods for pumping water out of the well that are Buckets on a chain, Bucket and Rope, Archimedes Screw and Windmill. But these solutions have not proved to be very promising as sometimes, the well water contains impurities that give rise to different diseases. Usually, it is safe to drink but sometimes it is found contaminated. The reason for its contamination can be, if there is a company near the well that poured chemicals in the ground or a farmer puts pesticides on their crops, the well water is likely to change and become a source of different diseases (Trottier, 2004).

The statistics further provide that out of 80% population, 50% people in Eastern Asia and 30% people in Sub-Saharan Africa cannot avail water from hygienic sources.
