The process of giving birth in a tub filled with warm water. Water birth can be of different types. Some women labor in warm water and then get out for delivery. Many decide to stay in water for the delivery of the baby as well. Moreover, the reduction in stress level of labor and delivery will dramatically decrease the fetal complications. This topic interested me due to existing and still growing opposition on the matter. The perceived benefits of water birth are considered as mere delusions by many and others just do not see something better than this.
