Introduction

My understanding of warehouse management is such that it refers to the procedure of organizing and managing the goods along with stocking and tracking of goods from where they are delivered to the required destination. Warehousing is basically done when goods are kept in stock for profit and so from this point the goods get distributed.

Earlier on warehouse management was not automated but this changed was brought about by the evolution of ware house management software.
