Introduction

French and Indian War was fought between the French and American Indian allies in the struggle against British colonial forces from 1756 to 1763 and is considered one of the bloodiest wars in American colonial history. French Indian War, many effects on all three continents. This war was the last of the four wars between the French and British forces in the colonial period from 1689 and 1763. War was over 7 years throughout North America and one of the main causes of this war was a struggle for territorial expansion between the French and British troops. He also believes that the consequences of the French Indian War are the ultimate cause of the American Revolution.

What Caused The French Indian War?

The war began in November 1754, when the French captain dismissed the Virginia Maj. George Washington to withdraw from the area of Ohio. In the early years of the war, British troops were not successful, but in 1756, when William Pitt was appointed British Secretary of State, the tide of war has changed completely in favor of the British forces, the British government sent more forces and munitions for its colonial forces in North America. In the first two years of the war the French and Indian forces completely destroyed the British forces.

After that, British troops began to seize back the French territory and in 1759 they won the battle of Plains of Abraham. British troops took control of the province of Quebec, after which they were able to seize the province of Montreal. 7 years of French-Indian War ended in 1763.
