Letter of Introduction

September 2, 2012

Dear friend,

I hope you would be hale and hearty. My aim for creating this time capsule is to enrich you with the important information about the present time for giving you an idea about how the life and society was in the year 2012.

The time, when I am writing this letter, is characterized with the attributes of competition, health consciousness, profit maximization and elevation of monthly income by all possible means. The people are just blindly struggling to outpace the contradicting competitors to ensure their own success.

My day starts at 6: am. I take a substantial round of exercises as recommended by my physician to help maintain a balance between the cardiovascular ailments and everyday work pressure. I start my routine day at the Information technology company which I have been serving for the last three years as Network Administrator. Though my day at office is very hectic and industrious but I feel good to be intensely busy because the busier my day is, better my productivity will be. I eagerly wait for my weekend like my all colleagues because a weekend is the only time in our life when we live a day completely in our own way regardless of the work pressures and it's only on weekends when my whole family is around the dining table to enjoy a festive dinner.

At times I just become frustrated on the way we lead our lives. I never wanted my life to be as mechanical as it has gone over the last three years just for the acquisition of materialistic deeds. I become highly uncomfortable with the increasing crime rate and juvenile delinquency in US because I am afraid that they will completely spoil our next generation if not handled with an iron hand.

The era of 2012 is very uncertain and instable as terrorism and rapidly diminishing natural resources have set the whole world in a tug of war for sustaining their resources. I earnestly wish that this letter would be unveiled in more positive and peaceful times. I deeply wish that American society would be known for the generosity, sincerity and morality in the coming times and it would not reflect the social ills of past.
