The involvement of Australia in the Vietnam War started in the year 1962 as a small commitment of 30 men.

This war then developed in the next ten years and reached its peak with a number of Australians that were about 7,672 and were set up in the South Vietnam or I can say that in support of the Australian forces that were present there. I am John Marshall; soldier in the Australian forces and committed to ending up my life serving for my country.
