The term HIV/AIDS bring to mind different feelings for different people. HIV/AIDS is bringing to the surface all what is weak and strong in our humanity. For many of us we feel a mixture of hostility, embarrassed compassion, fear, and at times ignorant disgust. At present, the world officially registered more than 40 million HIV-infected people. There are different views on HIV/AIDS. Some say that it is a threat to the entire population of the globe, while others says that HIV/AIDS is not that all this nonsense capitalists willing to cash in on the production of medicines. HIV/AIDS infection is not biological, but a social issue (Altman, 1982). HIV/AIDS is almost entirely a social disease. It is one of the main threats to our human, economic, and social development. HIV/AIDS is dramatically impacting our lives.

How do you know that are HIV-positive?
Like many other, by chance, but I consider this a happy accident. Just did a test, which to my surprise was positive. I'm happy to call this an accident because if not for this test, I would have known about his HIV infection too late

Is the life of a person with HIV infection to healthy human life?
Different, but not essential. For me, my HIV status is not any limitation for life.

How You Are Infected With HIV
I have suggested that HIV infection in the hospital I got an abortion. By the time I got divorced and met with another person. But none of them were infected. Before the abortion, I did an analysis, and it was negative. But after the abortion, I found hepatitis C and HIV. I do not use drugs and never even tried it, and hepatitis C infections are not transferred, so the conclusion is the only one.
How long have you learned about the diagnosis?
This happened two years ago in February. I found hepatitis C and said to the second floor AIDS Center. When I was told that I have found to be HIV-infected, I'm not much different between HIV and AIDS.
Your life has changed after you are diagnosed?
Yes. I had a terrible depression, I drank a lot, and no one could say about it, because I was afraid to lose and your friends and family. I am a very sociable person, and for me the loss of friends would have meant death. First, I just could not believe no one, because everyone has had an association that HIV is a disease of prostitutes and drug addicts. They thought that I tell them is that I just regret it.
