The United States foreign policy, under the rule of barrack Obama is based on four main objectives that include threats, needs, opportunities and responsibilities. Example of needs can be taken to be energy, which is basically in the form of fossil fuels. Examples of threat include narcotics, climate change, trafficking of people, diseases and terrorism.
