Parts of Nephron and Their Function

The functional unit f kidney is nephron. In each kidney, there are about one million nephrons. It plays a role in removing the waste material from the blood. Renal tubule and renal corpuscle make up each nephron in kidney. At different parts of the nephron, the mechanism of secretion and re-absorption occur in order to clean the blood from the undesired and toxic substances. The parts of the nephron and their functions are discussed below:
