United Parcel Service, Inc. came into existence in 1907 in the United States to deliver packages all across the world. Today, UPS is one of the biggest companies at United States that not just deliver parcels but also offers various logistics and transportation services (Brewster & Dalzell, 2007). In other words it can be said that UPS is a package delivery company. Headquarter of UPS is located in Sandy Springs, Georgia. In addition, UPS is recognized as spreading 15 million packages per day across more than 220 countries holding customer base of around 6.1 millions. The most interesting thing about UPS is that the company is majorly known for its brown trucks, internally called as package cars. Moreover, UPS also operates its own airline in order to reduce delivery cycle (Niemann, 2007).

UPS is currently facing tough competition from different local or international as well as private and government-based postal businesses.

In order to reach problems and their solutions, it is important to through some light on UPS's products and services. UPS delivers its services by land as well as by air. However, company facilitates its customers by various services through Customers Shipping Centers around the world. In addition, UPS also provide services through their website, which is also used for e-commerce purposes. It is also important to know that UPS uses 15 different languages to reach its customers and convey their message to them in their own language (Niemann, 2007).
