United States and Mexico border

Introduction

The border between the United States and Mexico runs from east to west from the U.S. and Mexican cities respective Brownsville, Texas and Matamoros, Tamaulipas, the Gulf of Mexico to those of San Diego, California and Tijuana, Baja California, the Pacific Ocean. With these arguments, U.S. political and social groups have called for strong measures to control the borders, especially between Mexico and the United States (DeLuca, McEwen & Keim). To protect the safety of U.S. have launched a series of measures including the construction of a Border Wall, which has caused much controversy in the U.S. and Mexico, and increased its number of troops from Border Patrol.

Mexican side of the debate is about public safety problems caused by activities of groups of illegal narcotics, usually spread to activities such as extortion, kidnapping, trafficking and illegal crossings of people. Such crimes, largely able to finance their activities and maintain control of the geographical areas where they operate. This implies an illegal weapons and money. The weapons used for the care and custody of their illegal activities, serve to intimidate the local authorities and federal grant money used for legal jobs in Mexico, thus being able to enter the formal economy, to be enjoyed by members of organizations illegal drug trade and to expand its network of patronage corruption.
