Background of the Study

The experiment was said to be a clinical study that was conducted amidst 1932 and 1972 in the state of Alabama in Tuskgee. It was said to be conducted by the U.S. Public Health Service in order to analyze the syphilis which was untreated and further analyze its progression specifically in African American men who perceived the analysis as a free treatment from the government.
