Task 1

Q.1. In reference to the Trilogy case study, discuss how HR management in the company contributed towards achievement of its organizational objectives?

HR Management department is the most vital department of the company as they choose the specific employees which will enable the success or failure of a company or an organization. The ultimate objective of any company is to achieve maximum profits and the percentage yield of the main product should be greatest. In order to do so many companies divide their objectives into indirect relation with the concerned key objective (Sims, 2002).

The HR policy of Trilogy provides three to four vital factors which can be used to evaluate the performance of the HR department of the company. Firstly, the can do attitude approach of the company which suggests that the software house picks up any type of order easily defines that the company's HR department is on the right track as it is choosing the employees who are workaholics and are ready to attempt any type of order. Secondly, the three week vigorous training schedule designed for the new employees is also a very suitable factor to evaluate the performance of the HR department. As the no. of employees who are retrained after the vigorous training is high this will suggest that the HR is doing its job ...
