Molluscum contagiosum is the viral infection that affects the skin most of the times. The problem in the mucous membranes is the ones that actually carried this problem. This virus most of the times, the virus is something that can be termed as non human reservoir (Toro et al , 2000). The virus though affects human beings the most. When one talks about the types of the virus, there are four main types of virus that are usually affecting the way it works, The four types of virus are MCV-1, MCV-2,MCV-3 and MCV-4. As far as the frequency of the virus is concerned, then most of the times it affects the molluscum that spreads from one person to the another and it happens when the skin of that person is making contact with the another person in event of the skin contact. There are other reasons due to which this virus can spread rather well.

Contagious Virus

The fact of the matter is that virus is so contagious that can it can be spread by even touching the surface that virus constitutes. These surfaces can be towels. Even the clothing and toys are infected by this virus. These are some of the things that are needed to be taken into the consideration. As soon as someone has the virus, the bumps and other such particles can spread to the other parts of the body that can make it hard for the body. The bumps that are happening due to the virus can spread even if there is an itching in the affected area and even touching the body can make it harder for the body.
