Harm reduction or harm reduction is a strategy of intervention in drug addiction and other behaviors that involve risk to health (such as prostitution, unsafe sex, etc.). That, knowing that there are people who develop these behaviors and not going to quit, to reduce the risks associated therewith, risks such as the transmission of sexually transmitted diseases or infectious disease transmission through consumption of drugs used, the risk of overdose, etc..
