Key Assessment Issues

Determination of stress factors to inquire about the fear factors after the traumatic accident; this includes the complete awareness of the patient perspective of self harm or harm to others. The client's complete anxiety assessment through asking details about the accidents and counselling her about her fears related to travelling which is affecting her life and education required to address. Patient also has terrific fear and nightmare problem.

What is the client's immediate need?

The patient's immediate requirements include the immediate interaction with the family so that this will improve the patient's emotional health. To let client believe that she is safe and will cope up with the problem, decrease uncertainty and generate believe that she is safe, Another significant consideration is to help the client to get out of self low esteem and self blame, proper mental health diagnosis and treatment as the patient also has terrific fear and nightmare problem.
