Transcending the insanity and illusions of the ego as a path to finding bliss

The transcendence of the ego has been visualized in many different ways in the religions and philosophies of the world. Among these ideas, however, there are two that, I believe, are more persistent and traditionally are fixed than others. The two ideas in question I shall call the hierarchy to oneness and the spiral to mixing, or the hierarchy and twisting views, correspondingly, for short. In this paper, I shall formulate and distinguish these two conceptions by contrasting them on insanity and illusions of the ego as a path to finding bliss.

One of the great illusions of the ego is that we still lack something to be happy. Whatever we gain, it will never be satisfied. A certain sense of incompleteness drives us to want more. This is part of a very clever ploy of the ego: it attempts to make us feel incomplete to control us. The truth is that we're all full from birth. Believe that we need something we do not already have would be the true definition of insanity according to Byron Katie, author of many popular spiritual books. The key lies in us, no matter what the commercial would have us believe. With such a mindset, ambition is just the icing on the cake. Personally, I think that ambition - carbide to altruism - is a good thing. However, this should not prevent us to enjoy the present moment. It's an old cliche, I do not make you say, but is this a reason to take his teachings for granted? By dint of always live in the future, we come to forget what we have today. On the other hand, live in the past is absurd since we have no control over it: what is done is done (Weiner, 12).

This illusion leads a hard life. Most of us spend our lives to support this belief negative. Unfortunately, like many other habits of self-absorbed, many do serious consideration after a near death experience. You know the saying: "Nobody has ever said on his deathbed," I should spend more time at the office. Must we wait for myocardial realize that money does not necessarily happiness? It is the ego that drives us to live in a reign of duality. Worldwide, almost all grow up with such certainty that life is a race, a battle to fight for his place. Outside, nothing is wrong. A life depends on such a belief system is simply a lie and this lie is very popular (Weiner, 12).

When we take responsibility for something, we give ourselves the opportunity to seize some control, it appears to us. It may be that the opportunity never arrives late or worse (which is exceedingly rare), but at least we keep our eyes wide open just in case. Suffering is an opportunity to transcend something. It is a unique opportunity to learn about oneself and the unwritten laws that govern the ...
