Introduction

This paper intends to discuss the tourism industry of United Kingdom. The focus of this paper will be over the economic environment and its underlying relationship with the tourism industry within United Kingdom. The United Kingdom hotels & motels industry grew by 0.9% in 2011 to reach a value of $13.9 billion. In 2016, the United Kingdom hotels & motels industry is forecast to have a value of $18.5 billion, an increase of 33.1% since 2011. This clearly depicts the potential of tourism industry within United Kingdom. The purpose of this paper is to make the reader aware about the United Kingdom's tourism industry and its relationship with economic environment.
