Too Strict an Adherence to Models & Theories Leads to a Constriction of Thoughts & Ideas
Introduction
Thoughts are any mental or intellectual activity involving an individual's subjective consciousness. It can refer either to the act of thinking or the resulting ideas or arrangements of ideas. When it comes to ideas, these can be generated in number of ways; they are, in fact, the creative generation of the human mind. Models and theories formed on the basis of these ideas after a deliberated process of mind. A model or theory can be formulated, either through the endeavor of millions of people, and evolved over the course of time, or it may be the aftermath of a single entity challenging the status quo. Over the years, the time has witnessed a series of evolving theories about human and his environment. These developments would not have been possible if the man has followed the earlier models and theories of life. As a matter of fact, all theories have one common feature in them i.e. each theory consider itself universally correct and will not allow anyone else idea or thought process to challenge it. The aim of the essay is to justify the topic sentence that if there is excessive adherence to model and theories, it will constrict the thought process and act as a hindrance to the generation of unorthodox ideas.

In other words, some theories can be universally applied while other are restricted to a certain phenomenon or group of phenomenon. For example, a political theory of democracy is universally recognized and appreciated, and it is also a bitter truth that it will not work in situations where a majority of individual is illiterate, and ...
