Introduction
Fuel is referred as any material that is able to release or discharge energy when its physical or chemical structure is altered. It is often observed that the fuel emits or discharges energy either in chemical manner including burning. Fuel may also releases energy through nuclear means like, process of nuclear fusion or nuclear fission. Therefore, fuels are referred as any materials that accumulate latent energy in particular forms that can be practicably used and released as heat energy. It is often observed that this concept specifically applied to those resources who store energy in the form of chemical energy. These materials often release heat energy through the process of combustion. On the other hand, this concept can also be applied on the materials or sources that store energy in the form of nuclear energy. These materials often release energy through the nuclear processes, nuclear fusion or nuclear fission (Mouritsen, 2013).
It is often observed that the combustion of these materials may cause several environmental and health issues. The combustion of these resources are considered as the main reason of global warming, it is because of the reason that, it may greatly affect the environmental conditions. In order to overcome all these issues, technologists and researchers have introduced latest and innovative ways of producing fuel. Those methods may include the production of fuel through tobacco leaves and seaweed (Israel, et.al., 2010).

What is Fuel?

It is often observed that, fuel discharges its energy either through chemical or nuclear means. The chemical means may include combustion or burning. The nuclear means may include nuclear fusion or nuclear fission. It is often observed that the combustion of fuel may cause several environmental and health issues. Recent researches and surveys show that energy and fuel engineers have developed and researched the ways to enhance the procedures of producing fuel (Triantafyllidis, et.al., 2013). This may greatly help them in minimizing the environmental impacts while managing the usage of fuel and energy. The process of producing fuel is briefly described in the proceeding discussion.
