To what extent do Huntington and Bowen agree (or disagree) on the roots of the Bosnian war?

The Bosnian War has been seen as the subject of ethnic criticism and conflicts by many writers and authors. There have been numerous recent discussions and debates on the subjects of international affairs that have proven to be misleading for the postulations that the present world is full of prehistoric ethnic conflicts. This notion suggests that the ethnic groups are the source of nourishing a last lasting hatred and is controlled only by those states that are in power. Bosnian War has been the ultimate of the same conflict as presented by authors such as Samuel Huntington and John Bowen.

I agree with the fact that the Bosnians Croats and Serbs have been the numerous distinct ethnic groups that were meant to slash throughout history. Though these three nations have lived with each other and spoken the same language, they have still formed the sources of differences amongst them. They are only distinctive in terms of their religions, i.e. Serbs being Orthodox Christian, Croats Roman Catholic, and Bosnians Muslim-- these religions have indeed become the means of group differences, and have results into the intergroup conflict.

The work done by Samuel P. Huntington will has been acting as the primary source of the exclusivity question of civilization. In his writing “The Clash of Civilizations?” Huntington agrees and analyzes the projected and contemporary conflicts, and makes the suggestion that the fodder for all the following conflicts will be created by the clash of civilizations. In accordance with the agreement of his proposition, the conflict and warfare evolve and shift from the actions and measures of monarchies, to the work of the nation states, and subsequently become the ultimate of several ideological differences.
