Introduction

Organization with unions or without unions has become the most debatable topic of the world, and with the passage of time, numerous individual have provided diversified reasons of having union or not, but none of them has able to provided clear answer to above raised question. Before answering the above-asked question, it is important to understand the role played by union in the organization, and in changing the working standard of employees that are registered in the labor union (Graham & Lam, 2003). According to the general perception, unions are observed of proposing a sound platform for increasing the monthly salary and other benefits of middle class people.

However, several critics have considered presence of Unions as a dangerous sign for the prosperity of countries economic condition. Under these circumstances it has become difficult for organization to take appropriate decision regarding allowing the union rule or not. However, performance of union since the time of its inception is clearly visible with the help of extensive literature that, clearly discloses certain important facts that presence of union might be of sufficient advantage for small group of people.

Unions in the organization operates as a labor carter, which limit the quantity of worker of a particular company or industry to increase the wages of the employees, on a similar manner as countries involved in OPEC reduce the supply of oil by increasing the price of the oil (Morreno, 2010). According to well-known economist, unions only tend to benefits their members, but tend to cause severe problems for general consumers, and employees that are not able to acquire jobs in the market. Meanwhile numerous, legislation in the country has made it imperative for large organization to form a union labor within their organization, but with recent failure and increasing issues, has enable me to take appropriate decision of not allowing the roots of labor union to prosper within my organization.

Being the HR manager of the organization it is my primary responsibility of reducing employees work related problem and improve the performance of the organization, and thus improving the performance of the company as a whole (Yamada, 2009).
