Introduction

There have been great changes regarding discrimination at workplace due to different race, class or status in the United States. In 1964, the Civil Rights Act forbade any kind of racial segregation in schools, public places or at workplaces. The Act was later amended to protect women and Caucasian race. Till date there have been several amendments under way and Title VII is mainly there to protect employment discrimination.
