In 1 Corinthians 7:25-28 and 1 Corinthians 7:32-33, Paul is not condemning to be married but he is simply proposing two things. First that it is not reasonable to get married when a person is distressed. It can easily be applied to today's world because marriage comes with responsibilities towards family which can only increase a distress situation. On the other hand, it is not viable to divorce under pressure because difficult times eventually pass. Secondly, a person needs to focus on God's commands; he/she must act to please God.
