The purpose of this paper is to talk about the different changes that took place over the period of time in the Sixties in United States. This was the period of changes and development and these changes and development took place in almost all the fields. In order to discuss the world of Sixties and the changes that took place during sixties the book “The World the Sixties Made” by Moser & Gosse is selected. This book undertakes discussion about the era of sixties in great details. For in depth discussion and to authenticate the knowledge that is presented in the book the authors have included various other articles that talk about the changes occurring in different spheres during sixties in United States. Three phenomenal changes are discussed in this paper from the discussion of the book. These changes are changes that occurred in the political arena during sixties, the second change that is discussed is about changes in the movies and Hollywood and third and last change that is discussed in this paper is about changes in women liberation and women's right. Three articles are selected from the book of Moser and Gosse to talk about the changes in the above mentioned fields. These three articles are “The Land Belongs to the People: Reframing Urban Protest in Post-Sixties Philadelphia” by Feffer, “The Movement Inside: BBS Films and the Cultural Left in the New Hollywood”, by Andrew Schroeder and “Taking over Domestic Space: The Battered Women's Movement and Public Protest” by Anne Enke. A discussion is undertaken about the changes from the perspective of these three articles. Then a conclusion is presented.
