Introduction

“The three Musketeers” is regarded as one of the master piece of Aleixandre Dumas. He is one of the famous French authors of the nineteenth century. The author has fascinated many readers by his masterly writing. This novel “The three Musketeers” is regarded as one of the historical novel. Aleixandre Dumas was born in 1802 his grandfather was a nobleman. Duma has produced approximately 250 books with his assistant. This novel the three musketeers are regarded as one of the finest novel. The entire novel revolves around D'Artagnan, who is the central character. I heard a lot regarding this fine novel from my friends, which insisted me to start reading this book. I have just read one chapter of this book so far, but the first chapter of this book has fascinated me. After reading the first chapter of this novel, I have identified that D'Artagnan is the central character of this novel. It is expected that the whole story will revolve around D'Artagnan.

Chapter 1

In the first chapter, young man Artagnan is leaving for Paris for his father's work. He will meet prestigious King Musketeer, who is also a childhood friend of young's man father. The young man is supposed to handover confidential letter to the King of Musketeer, named Monsieur de Treville. The father of an immature man gave sensible suggestions to his young child before leaving. The mother of Artagnan sends his young blood with a sentimental leave of Paris. On his way he to Meung he observed that an unknown noble man is making fun of him, or at least of his horse. He starts quarreling with him, and unfortunately, he was surrounded by outnumbered army. The young guy was hit by one army member, and he goes to the unconscious mind. The secret nobleman investigates his pockets and stoles the letter which the young fathers' has handed over. When he gets back in his senses, he figured out that the nobleman is addressing “Milady” about the incident. He also figured out that his valuable document has been stolen by the nobleman. The young man gives threats to the servants of nobleman to return his confidential letter. He was not able to get back his confidential letter, and leaves for Paris where he rent a room near the home of Monsieur Treville.

The four characters include: father and mother of D'Artagnan, a suspicious nobleman and the central character of D'Artagnan. In the first chapter, the novel begins with the central character of D'Artagnan; he is renowned for his bravery and courage. The first chapter is based on how the young man was sent to Paris, and how he was trapped on the mid way by the suspicious noble man.
