Introduction
This poem shows a theme of choosing between two options in life. The poet has described the path of life as two roads and that only one can be chosen. In this poem the poet is quite indecisive about what to choose and seems to think about his options and what to choose. He wants to choose both paths but being one traveler it would be impossible for him to choose both. This is why he is observing both options and finds that they are relatively same but only some portion of the paths are visible that shows that the future of any path is not known in life. He further tells that he might be regretting his choice after a long time to choose the different path. However he took the path that was less traveled and that was the difference maker of his future. The poet tells the reader to choose what one wants and not what is being done by others. This choice is what would be the deciding factor of one's life.
