Theology is defined as the systemic beliefs and understandings of a religion (www.tebyan.net). There are various important aspects associated with the understanding of the beliefs and practices in a religion. In Islam theology is defined as “Ilm-ul-Kalam” because it deals with the “science of debate” (www.muslimphilosophy.com). It is different approach from other religions as it involves discussion of the human reasoning and rational from the philosophical approach. Islamic theology deals with the understanding of the general perceptions associated with the general understanding of the beliefs associated with the practice of Islam once the revelations ceased. Stefon defined Islamic theology as a study of the “facts and contexts of Islamic revelations” and understanding of the practices of Islam with Qur'an, fiqh (jurisprudence), sunnah (practices of Prophet Muhammad PBUH) and Hadith (sayings of Prophet Muhammad PBUH). All these are the basis of Islamic theology (Stefon, 2009, p.129).
The religion of Islam and its teachings are based on the moral and spiritual practices which are based on the Qur'an. Qur'an is the complete guide and provides the fundamental principles for the life of people. It provides a path of enlightenment and belief in Allah. It also deals with shariah, the laws of Islamic religion (Armajani, 2004, p.88-90). It provides instructions to deal with the matters of life and to seek for the solutions with the rules defined in Quran. Qur'an is the complete guide for the life in all matters of life, and shows the correct path to interact among community and with relatives. Therefore, Quran is the centre of Islamic theology, which deals with all the social and individual concerns related to Islam.

The Qur'an contains Words of Allah
The Qur'an is the divine speech of Allah and it is exactly stated in the words which were revealed to the Prophet Muhammad PBUH. It contains all the verses that were revealed to Muhammad PBUH through the angel Jibril (Dahmash-Jarrah,& Dressler, 2005, p.120). It was the sign of prophethood and this was the way that Allah taught his Prophet. This is the reason that, Qur'an is the complete guide for the Muslims. It provides complete guidance for the social and spiritual learning and way of life. The words of Allah revealed to the Prophet, were later preserved in the written form (Dahmash-Jarrah,& Dressler, 2005, p.120). It not only teaches about the faith in Allah, but also proves the fact that it is a divine message sent for the guidance of humanity through messenger of Allah (www.bbc.co.uk). There are many verses which reflect the fact that it is a divine Book with the message from Allah.
