The mysterious Stranger

Introduction

Mark Twain was born in Florida (Missouri) on November 30, 1835. At age four, his family moved to Hannibal (Missouri) river port on the Mississippi, where he began his studies. When his father died in 1847, he began working as an apprentice in the printing, and manages the trade of compositor, and in 1851 published in the daily notes of his brother. He later worked in the printing of Keokuk, Iowa, New York, Philadelphia and other cities. Later he was a pilot of a steamboat, Confederate soldier, and mining in the silver mines of Nevada. However, He was recognized worldwide for the last years of his life, and received an honorary doctorate from the University of Oxford (England) in 1907. He died on April 21, 1910 in New York.

Discussion

There are several techniques which got used to convey the message. However, Mark Twain is trying to communicate that Satan is the "mysterious stranger". The Satan is descended of an angel family, the prince of darkness (nephew of bad), representative of heaven, but understood not as a realm of good and the kingdom ruled by God. However, as we remember from the previous work God and good is a contradictory notion of the concept of Twain. Moreover, the message is conveyed in a very unique way, as this seemingly uncomplicated story and a satirical piece about the late Mark Twain is actually the deepest philosophical parable, in fact, a brilliant inspiration to visit the elderly and genius left us a legacy.
