"The Emperor's Club" is many divergent than you would think. It does run a bit on cheesy sentimentality, but the final outlook is more than unexpected deeming the sort of picture this is.
It is a period-piece about a tutor (Kevin Kline) at a prestigious school for male offspring, and how he attempts to "mould" a strong-willed fifteen-year-old boy.
