Mention the name of the resource from where you researched the article and before its publication was it identified by the relevant experts of the research field?

I found this research article in the EbscoHost data base. While searching the data base the researcher selected an option to display results which were peer reviewed.

Is the article research on an defined research statement, problem or question? Can the focus of the author's work determined by you?

Yes, I believe the following statement is the stated research problem; to investigate the effectiveness of American Sign Language with hearing children's of normal development and whether the use of language hinders or enhances children's short-term memory (Larson & Chang, 2007).

I have no recommendations in what way this article could have been better organized.

Are the previous studies on the topic reviewed and outline by the article, mention the particular section? In what ways are this previous work relevant to the research problem?

Yes, this section was labelled Introduction. It looked at the use of sign language with hearing children of normal development.

Are these procedures that has been defined and carried out in the study by the author are clear enough that you could repeat the work and get similar results? What additional information might be helpful or essential for you to replicate the study?
