Introduction

Health care necessities are important for the continued existence and healthy being of the public. In those societies where health services are easily available to the ordinary men, opulence and harmony reigns best. Nursing plays a central function in delivering fitness care, and so is serious to any nation's well-being. No additional health care expert has such an enormous and active position. Nursing is defined as a set of actions that are meant for providing concern to the persons who are unwell, mentally inept, or dying. This is a line of work for giving help and support to those by now suffering. Nurses share the burdens and the sorrow. These are people who lend shoulders when others desert the patient and go away. It is their responsibility to support health, and help in preventing sickness. Nurses offer health management services to people of all kinds of demographics all the time. Their role is extensive. They are persistent, hard working individuals and their job requires clinical accuracy round-the-clock. The history of nursing dates back to 1830s when treatment was not being appreciated as a profession and publicly unsound women used to go into this activity without any education background or knowledge whatsoever. It was Florence Nightingale, “the lady of the lamp”, who was first recognized as a nurse in the 19th century and known far and wide now as the founder of nursing. Her offerings to nursing patients emerged during the 1854's Crimean war where she unselfishly provided care to the injured soldiers and inhabitants. She was the one who emphasized upon the education and training needs of these nurses, stressing on its critical significance. Though statistician and politician by profession, her contributions are valuable and memorable as far as this noble profession is concerned.

Madeleine Leininger is a ground-breaking theorist of nursing. She has contributed a lot in nursing theory. It consists of the debate of the main things to be cared. Particularly, she developed the idea of trans-cultural treatment that brought the task of cultural factors in nursing practice into the argument of people who are in the need to be taken care of and how will they be best treated. (Alizadeh, 2000) (Martha, 2007).

Dr. Madeline Leininger is the creator of the trans-cultural nursing group and is one of nursing's mainly productive writers. She has stated that the dominant part or nursing is based on care which is the essence of nursing. Care is the unifying feature that has to be looked carefully by the nurse. She has said that care can exists without curing, but there would no cure with our care. She termed “care” as a universal phenomenon.
