A retrospective examination of the economic policies of Roosevelt's New Deal from March 1933 to onset of World War II in late 1941, Roosevelt's New Deal included three R's: Relief, Recovery, and Reform. The reason of this New Deal was to advance the citizen in every way possible. In Relief, FDR liked to halt the economy from declining. In Recovery, he liked to start programs to assist boost clientele demand. In Reform, he liked to bypass depression and economic disasters. (Floyd, pp. 80)
