The writing “Some Moral Minima” by Lenn Goodman argues about things that go simple wrong. I completely agree with the Lee Goodman argument. He has discussed several issues of our society that are genocide, terrorists, murders, rape, incest, and polygamies. It is not justice to kill someone innocent with no reason, to rape a person just for lust and sex, and snatch the rights of the people. Just for the wealth and power people behave like animal. The discussion is all about the right of humans and respect of humanity whether, it is a boy, girl, man, women or an old person. It should not be related to any profession all humans must have equal right. Goodman argues that we should judge things that are morally correct and right. I agree with Goodman that people must have equal rights and equality treatment no one has any authority to treat human cruelty. All people must have equal treatment and they should be given freedom to work and freedom to speak. People should not judge any other person, and judgement should not be the factor for others. Who are we and why should we judge any other person.
We make moral decision in everyday life. The decisions may be big, small, right and sometimes wrong. However, some are simply wrong. These are the areas that are highlighted by Good man and they are challenges in relativism and morality. The most initial area is Genocide that that is related to political inducement famine, and germs welfare. In accordance to Goodman (2010), “Genocide is uglier than murder because it targets individuals as members of a group.” There are some third world countries in which political inducement famine is method to control the population. This is related to the relativism.
