If you were building a case against Neil, Sami and Louise how would you use the available facts as evidence to show that they committed any offences under the Football (Offences) Act 1991?
As building case against Neil, Sami and Louise, I would use below available facts as an evidence to show that they committed offences under the Football (offences) Act of 1991.
Throwing of Missile
Before starting of Match, Sami throw his empty beer can to the hit the corner flag. This is always looks disappointing feeling when local team playing in ha half hearted manner. It is clearly indicated that Sami is become an offense person because of his illegal act. According to Football act offense (1991), “it is become an offense when a person designated football match to throw anything to the playing area without lawful authority” (Horne, 1995).
Indecent or Racialist chanting
Article 3 (1) of the Football Act (1991) indicates that chanting means repeating uttering sounds or words and it become racialist when it involves abusive, threading or insulting from one person to other person due to colour, nationality, race, ethnic group or national origins (Horne, 1995).
When these three Neil, Sami and Louise enter in ground, they immediately spot some fans of the opposite team and start chanting them at racist manner. Although, Louise gets very cross and start chanting at one other player of team when he did not successful score on penalty (against designated law which indicates that, “act of a person to make provision with respect to disorderly conducted by personal attending football matched”. This is purely unethical in nature and they committed offences under the Football Act (1991).
