Introduction

As the word “Fierce” itself explains the theme that is based on powerful intensity and aggressiveness. Here, the concern is the fierce people who live in southern Venezuela and northern Brazil specifically “Yanomamo Indians”. Every person belongs to some culture and behaves accordingly and so these Yanomamo Indians. The total population of Yanomamo Indians is approximately 10,000 people with an unknown number of villages because outsiders do not prefer to contact them. It is considered to be one of the tribes as the most back-cultured tribe of South America. The Yanomamo Indians want others to think of them as fierce people.

Cultural Shock

The most important feature of the Yanomamo Indians is their culture, which signifies two noteworthy things including; the attitude to take revenge and the warlike situation every time. The factor of aggression is deeply rooted in their culture. Such incidents include; the man beating wife and killing people who belongs to opponent villages. Many of these people are used to take a drug which is clearly shown by their teeth, lips, and nose. They welcome people in their village in an extremely horrible manner like lots of dogs standing with you, crossing your legs like they consider you as their food. Kidnapping is also very common activity taking place in their village. In one of cases, seven women of one group were kidnapped by another group who raided. Such incidents make Yanomamo Indians keep themselves armed because the raiders can enter their village anytime. This makes any normal person to feel distressing in such an awkward situation. However, it is also a fact that all the people are not alike. The neighbors of Yanomamo Indians, specifically Makiritare Indians, are eager to express their courtesy to the guests who visit their place.

Dirty Environment

The people who belong to Yanomamo Indian is dirty as they do not consider cleanliness as important thing to adopt. They used to wear dirty clothes and to clean their nose by their hands and put the same hands on their hairs. There is unbearable smell, which comes from them. It seems to be pathetic and can make anyone else feel sick. If anyone else asks them to clean their hands, then they would do it by spitting tobacco juice on their hands and rub them.
