Catalogue of Evidences

Soil Samples

Soil sample was obtained from the bodies of SA Camarena and Captain Zavala, this is done by removing the traces of soils from the clothes and from dead bodies.

Soil samples were collected from the La Primavera Park, located at the Guadalajara, where the bodies of Albert Radelat and John Walker were placed as pointed by an associate of Rafael Caro-Quintero (Malone, 1989).

Hair Samples

During the initial examination, hair samples were obtained from the bodies of two deceased persons upon the approval given to FBI forensic team.

Grave Site

The forensic team visited the area where the bodies were supposedly being buried, though, what was found is that at the site, there was no marked area of grave. In addition to that, the color of soil of the conceived grave area was different from that of soil collected from the bodies.

Lack of body Fluids

At the burial site, there was not any trace of any body fluids which gave a new direction to the research.

Mercury Gran Marquis

DEA agents found out a black Mercury Gran Marquis, which was believed to be used for the kidnapping of SA Camarena. This car was, according to the investigation, was also used for transporting SA Camarena, this, however, was found in a garage in Guadalaraja and was hidden by a built wall at the entrance.

Bed Linen

Bed linens were removed from the beds of the residence which was conceived as the place where SA Camarena was detained and tortured.

Carpet Samples

From that particular home, the FBI forensic team also collected samples of carpets from each of the room.

VW Atlantic

A light brown color VW Atlantic car was also obtained from the back side of the home. The association of this car is much relevant to the case since the witnesses identified a small car which was used for kidnapping SA Camarena.

License Plate

FBI forensic team obtained the license plate at the bottom of a brain near the tennis court at the residence.

Evidences from MFJP

Portion of Pillowcase, which was removed from bedroom no. 3;

A piece of uncoiled rope, which was removed from covered patio;

A laboratory report, prepared by MFJP Crime Laboratory
