The Dream That I Had

For almost as long as I can remember I have wanted to be a writer. In fourth grade two friends and I published a handwritten newspaper called the “Summer gazette” We went door to door selling copies of our news for a penny a piece.

In high school I worked on the school paper, In college I wrote poetry fancying myself to be the next Sylvia Plath. That was until I discovered I had no real talent for poetry. I still dreamed of being a writer though, writing for some huge magazine or newspaper.
