Introduction

Americans in the past did not consider the Native Americans as Americans rather they classified them as enemy groups and did not consider them as a part of the country. This meant that the blacks were not considered as citizens of the country and it was seen that the country was not interested in including the Native Americans as their countrymen. During colonization, there were a number of Native Americans that helped in the Revolutionary War and since then the place of the Native Americans in the history has changed. This paper will talk about the changing role of Native Americans in the country and how they have contributed to the building of the American Nation.

Discussion

Native Americans played different roles during the formation of the American Nations. Some of them were dedicated and patriotic, thus they helped their country to fight against all odds and prove to be helpful for the independence of the country. During the British rule, the role that the Native Americans played was effective and helped the country in getting rid of the British (Beatty-Medina, 2012). With the passage of time, the role of Native Americans changes as it proved to be helpful for the people and also ensured as to how they can help the nation in getting rid of the British rule.

The Native Americans played a positive role during the different incidents that took place during and before the Revolutionary War. This shows the positive role that the Native Americans played for the establishment of the American nation.
