The significance and importance of assessment in early childhood education has never been as integral to the accountability of the field as it is today. Almost every teacher has shy children in the classroom. Encouraging them to communicate effectively can make a huge difference in their schoolwork, as well as in their lives. Stages of child development are the subject of numerous studies that allow uncovering periods and pivotal moments in the development of language, cognitive, social and emotional, sensory and motor of the child (Mayer, 2003). In this paper we will be discussing Darshan case and the steps that can overcome the prevailing problems.

Most of the parents hope that their child will love to go to school, and they will interact easily with the outside world and they will love to participate in the class room activities. However not all child act in the similar way particularly those who are reserved or shy. As mentioned the case of Darshan. Where the child does not have the confidence to interact with others and does not initiate interactions with other children. There are several theories on giving importance to such children by keeping them involved in the classroom activities.
