The main purpose of this paper is to discuss the main functions and parts of the brain. Brain is considered to be the most vital part of a nervous system because it is consisted of 90% of neurons in the body. Brain is the most important part of human body that tells us what to do or not. It also helps in imagining things and making the rationale decisions.
Parts & Functions of Brain
In a broad sense, the brain is the set of central nervous system elements contained in the skull. The medical understanding about the brain power is that it is the underlying characteristics of the human being in this body having the higher mental functions, speech and emotions. However, we can consider that the brain has three main functional units:
Regulatory unit of muscle tone and wakefulness
This includes the ascending reticular system and the limbic system; the first is responsible for regulating the waking state through the care and allows the perception, the second part is responsible in the following activities:
* Regulation of emotional behavior.
* Regulation of sexual behavior.
* Regulation of speed and feeding behavior.
* Regulation of sleep-wake cycles.
* Regulation of visceral activities among others.
Processing unit and storage of information the brain receives
This unit is divided into:
* General sensory.
* Hearing.
* Visual.
Programming unit, regulating and verifying mental activity
Its basic function is the verification of conscious activity, training plans and schedule of actions; it involves the mechanisms of motor activity of intelligent deliberation and regulation of behavior.
Brain function is so extremely complex and sophisticated that there are still many unanswered questions, so if we can say definitely is that "the human brain is one of the great wonders of nature."
Brain material is inside a human skull and contains material consciousness. The brain is the right machine which gathers together all that is, ideas, impulses coming from the subconscious, and recycles them into material conscious ideas and leads in the final phase. Brain is the material factor of consciousness, which seeks solutions, thinks, finds the results and then again returns them in the form of knowledge in material and logical tangible subconscious, where they are further processed. Thus, there are certain logical construct and the relationship, which through the central consciousness transmit tiny pulses in the spiritual, where they are collected, stored and permanently united with the newly incoming logical knowledge. If a person finds a solution to the problem with your brain, and consequently he finds it with the help of his material consciousness, then this solution does not go fully into the spiritual realm.
All the nonlogical things remain in the subconscious mind because it does not pass the barriers of the spiritual and the material of the central brain. Only a tiny fraction of interest that a person develops and creates with his brain and material consciousness is a purely logical ...
