Andrew Jackson was the seventh president of United States of America. He was born on March 15, 1767 in a log cabin which made him the first president who did not come from a wealthy aristocratic family. He rose from common people and that is why was loved by them despite being criticized as a dictator. He faced many crises during his presidency, became the founder of modern democracy and was nick named “Old Hickory” for his toughness.
