ABSTRACT
This research study aims at finding out the textile industries' environmental hazards in UK.
Mixed methodology was employed and the questionnaire and interviews were conducted. The textile industries are creating the hazardous waste. This waste is creating pollution that is impacting negatively on the human health as well as on the environment. The textile Industry poses environmental Hazards can cause different health problems. The environment is also getting pullulated with the hazardous wastes from the textile industries' wastes although many companies are taking initiatives in order to minimize the hazardous wastes. Somewhat, these companies in UK are successful in doing that but still this issue exists as this problem has not been eradicated completely by the textile industries UK.

CHAPTER 1: INTRODUCTION
Background of the Research
In environmental science, environmental risk can be defined as the possibility of occurrence of environmental harm may be due to some natural phenomena or some human actions. Risks can be classified as natural hazards cause by some natural activity and anthropogenic risks, which is caused by some human actions. Natural Hazards: examples are those associated with internal geological phenomena such as volcanic eruptions and earthquakes, or falling meteorites (Tedeschi, 2007, 62). Anthropogenic risks: they are produced by human activities, although the ...
